Goals of the Seminar (by the end of the seminar you will be able to discuss):
- Who is and who is not a candidate for Intraoperative Breast Radiation Therapy (IORT) and discuss pros and cons of IORT.
- The role of the Medical Oncologist in managing the breast cancer patient.
- The importance of clear margins following lumpectomy.
- Breast density, understand importance of mammographic positioning, breast compression and discuss ACR positioning guidelines required for accreditation.
- Discuss the colors (red and orange) of the rainbow as it applies to nutrition and good health.
- Phytonutrients & Nutrition, obesity, insulin resistance, aging, breast cancer and the 2019 food “color of the rainbow” Orange.
